Justin Timberlake is expanding his brand… again. The singer/producer/designer will soon be able to add Tequila maker to his resume.
JT is reportedly in talks to launch his own collection of Tequila. He recently toured a Mexican distillery tasting various kinds of tequila.
A rep for the JT confirms, “This was one of his many meetings over the last two years in development of his tequila business.”
So in the next year or so you’ll be able to hang out in a pair of William Rast jeans, listen to his album, while watching one of his commercials on TV and do shots of JT Tequila. Watch out Diddy, there’s a new mogul in town!

I had heard about this back in October @ the tournament. A friend of mine spoke to one of his business partners with the tequila deal. Cool beans, huh? I don’t know why he would pick tequila… but alright.

Justin Timberlake and his new tequila
In development for more than two years, the liquor will hit store shelves in early May in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and St. Louis.
The reason behind the numeric name? “901 is that time of night when your evening is ending, but your night is just beginning. It is also a subtle nod to his hometown,” says the singer’s spokesperson, referring to the area code for Memphis, where Timberlake grew up.
The new venture is the latest addition to Timberlake’s growing business portfolio, which includes the fashion line William Rast and the music label Tennman.
