Justin Timberlake‘s first girlfriend shares the secrets of his heart and Star has all the exclusive details in our new issue!
The budding superstar was just 17 when he penned his sentiments for his first love, singer Veronica Finn, who shares intimate details of their romance and Justin’s emotion-filled, handwritten love notes.
“He was very special,” Veronica, 30, who was in the girl group Innosense when she and the *NSYNC heartthrob dated, tells Star. “Our love was unique, and he was an absolute sweetheart.”
Over the course of their year-and-a-half-long romance, “It wasn’t typical dating because we both were touring by then,” says Veronica. “But when we had time together, we went to the movies, to the park or just hung out at each other’s house. We even vacationed together in the Bahamas.”
Veronica tells Star, “Justin loved to express his feelings for me in writing. I’ve kept a box of mementos from him, including his cards and letters, in my attic for years.” They include her favorite note, a message of encouragement he wrote in her diary when she was recording in the studio for the first time. Justin calls himself “the happiest man alive” and ends by raving, “Damn I love that girl!”
Even though I think she was a little much in sharing this- I know this is the Justin we all love.

Justin and Jessica are getting married. I can’t wait nothing is going to stop them now!! They made their way back together. That’s why they’re meant to be. Love you Justin and Jessica I hope she use his last name Jessica Timberlake sounds goooooood!!
I use to think Veronica was not that pretty.. lol But I seen some pictures of her and she does look better some. At least better then when she was a teen. I know she says she met Jessica before. But I still don’t know if she knows her all that well.. Esp. if they do get married. But then again I say Jessica does in front of his famile or family TRYS to act all goody goody. I don’t know if Justin change his mind on marriage. And he does or doesn’t know what he want’s to do yet etc.
Oh yeah and I forgot to add Veronica is now engaged herself.
I agree carryberry, I’m sure that she is super nice when she meets people who are connected to Justin. Except probably Britney and Cameron, lol. But Veronica? Not anymore a danger in any way, so she was nice, lol.
I hate it when people like this put Justin’s business out there, just trying to earn an extra buck from a magazine. Some things are just meant to be kept to one’s self. But, I love hearing this kind of stuff. It reminds me how down to earth our Justin really is. Sometimes I forget he’s just a normal guy, full of love!
