 So I wake up and my dad’s friend was like so didja hear your boy got engaged, then checked my email and about 400 other people said the same lol. unfortunately, WoJ can not confirm nor deny this claim at the moment. The only websites reporting this are ones I have never heard of.

It is the holiday season, which could give reason for asking, but at the same time that is exactly what the tabloids think when writing a story.

I think they make a cute pair, and both have the same views pretty much. The world watched both grow up, started an empire and had to learn how to establish a name for themselves without their other half.

Justin Timberlake ‘Not Romantically Involved With Anyone,’ Rep Says

The Internet has been buzzing with reports that newly single Justin Timberlake has been cozying up to another recently uncoupled star, Ashley Olsen.

Eyebrows were raised when the duo was spotted taking in an off-Broadway performance of Sleep No More on Friday in Manhattan, but a rep for Timberlake, 30, says, “Justin is not romantically involved with anyone.”

A source close to Timberlake, who split from Jessica Biel last winter, adds that he and Ashley, 24, “have mutual friends. They were hanging out as a group.”

Although Timberlake may indeed be single, an Ashley source says she and the actor are more than just friends.

“I’m not sure if Ashley is serious with Justin or not – they aren’t dating but they have hooked up recently,” the source tells PEOPLE.

“Ashley is a relationship person, much more than [her sister, Mary-Kate], so we’ll see.”

For the local film industry, 2011 is turning out to be the year of Bruce.

 Actor Bruce Willis‘ New Orleans-shot sci-fi action film “Looper” wraps on April 1 after getting underway in January. After that, he heads to Shreveport to shoot “Kane & Lynch” with Jamie Foxx. And now he has a third Louisiana project lined up, one expected to keep him in the Bayou State into the summer months.

Willis’ dramatic comedy “Lay the Favorite” — co-starring Justin Timberlake, Rebecca Hall and Catherine Zeta-Jones – is on tap to shoot for 25 days in New Orleans starting May 11, according to the latest rundown of production activity issued by the state’s office of film and television.

Directed by Stephen Frears (“The Queen,” ”High Fidelity”) for Focus Features, it tells the story of a thirtysomething woman who falls in with a group of gamblers who’ve figured out a way to work the Las Vegas system.

(Anybody else smell a Harrah’s shoot?) 

“Lay the Favorite” is one of the newer projects cropping up on the most recent list of local film and TV productions set to shoot in-state. Here’s the full state-provided list, including contact info for each production:

The Farrelly Brothers, who begin filming their big-screen version of “The Three Stooges” in April, are considering all three to play the legendary knuckleheads. They’ve also reached out to their “Kingpin” star Woody Harrelson and Peter Farrelly’s Vineyard golf buddy Larry David for the Larry role. They’re considering Hank Azaria for Moe and a host of unknowns for Curly.

“We haven’t cast it yet, we haven’t picked anyone,” Bobby Farrelly said. “It’s a little tricky, right? Because they all have to be about the same age and even around the same height. We’re waiting for that first person that we’re going to say, ‘This is going to be our Moe, Larry or Curly’ and we’ll build around that. But it’s going to happen soon. It will be within three weeks.”

Sadly, like their current comedy “Hall Pass,” which is set in Providence and on Cape Cod, the Farrellys will film the Stooges flick in Georgia.

“We need good weather, so we have to head south. And unfortunately for Massachusetts, Georgia has a better tax incentive and that’s huge,” said Bobby. “We save millions by going down there and you just can’t talk the studio out of it.”

The Rhode Island homeys were in town last week to flog their new flick, the tale of a couple of suburban hubbies whose adolescent behavior actually drives their wives to give them a “Hall Pass” — a week off from marriage.

Insiders tell Vulture exclusively that now that Bruce Willis is committing to star as a professional gambler-in-shambles named Dink, the rest of the cast for Stephen Frears’s sports-gambling movie Lay the Favorite, Take the Dog (adapted from Beth Raymer’s memoir) is falling quickly into place at Focus Features: We now hear the odds are good that Justin Timberlake will play the part of Rosie, a Long Island bookmaker who runs a massive off-shore sports book under which Raymer (to be played by Rebecca Hall) apprenticed. We also hear the smart money is on Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones signing on to play Tulip, Willis’s wife. Just in the nick of time: Shooting on the picture — described by Variety as equal parts The Grifters and High Fidelity — is scheduled to start in April.

A reliable inside source has revealed to us who’s up next hosting SNL. After the previously reported Miley Cyrus appearance, we get the return of Zach Galifianakis. Soon after that we’ll have Helen Mirren and Elton John; not in the same show, mind you, but as separate hosts. And for the grand season finale we have fan favorite Justin Timberlake returning with musical guest Lady Gaga. Gaga is still unconfirmed, but her name is on the board. It should easily be an epic season finale for the show.

According to Us Weekly, the producers of Glee approached J.T. recently to ask if they could use some of his hits on the show. Shockingly, he told them “no”, which one source insists was a “slap in the face” for the show.

However, when reached for comment, Glee’s team told sources:

“We love Justin, and look forward to working with him in the future.”

So, which is it?

We could see how Justin might’ve denied their request a la Coldplay back when the show was new, but now…well, we just don’t see the point of refusing. Time and time again it’s been proven that getting a song on Glee is beneficial to the original artist. Just ask Journey, Katy Perry, Queen, Rihanna…the list goes on and on!

If you’re not going to make any new music, Justin, at least let us relive the glory days! Let them sing Cry Me River! C’mon!

The following Rumors are circulating, but are false.

1. Justin to pop the question
Seriously, if Justin were going to pop the question, he wouldn’t announce it. He’s a private kinda guy and a bit on the romantic side. He wouldn’t be so cliche to ask on his birthday, valentine’s day or any other day in which millions of other men do the same.
2. Justin and Jessica splitting due to cheating
The funny thing is, if this were to happen nobody would believe due to the amount of times this article has cried wolf.
3. Justin and Mila Kunis
Same ol ‘ story. Hot guy meets hot girl, bam story brews. This happens outside of Hollywood too. If I spend more than five minutes standing next to a guy in a bar, the very next day I go to work and my co-workers are asking me for details, even though there are none because the reason I was standing next to the guy was because he was gay and asking about my Louis Vuitton bag. So come on gossip mags, be a bit more original!
