#jt2013
NEW ALBUM!!!!
so my sister totally just made me realize something, this is the first time Justin is releasing an album and I’m not sleeping on the streets of NYC for something JT related.

2002 justified – Justin performed on MTV’s iconic video countdown show TRL infront of a shutdown timesquare.
2006 future sex love sounds – not only did Justin make his rounds on TRL that day as well, but he also did an autograph signing to the first i think it was 500 fans who braved it out in the street by virgin mega store. (I waited like 2 days, fucked up my sleeping for months lol)

and now in 2013 we have the 20/20 experience!
go buy it on itunes!

Justin Timberlake Surprise Performer at Pre-Grammys Party

Talk about a being a good great friend.
Justin Timberlake was the surprise guest during his pal Timbaland’s performance at last night’s launch of the United Nations Foundation’s new mobile initiative, mPowering Action, at the Conga Room in downtown Los Angeles.
J.T. joined Timbaland on stage to perform their hit “Carry Out” for an enthusiastic crowd of twentysomethings, including hottie Kellan Lutz, his Twilight costar Nikki Reed and her husband, Paul McDonald. Also in the audience was Timberlake’s fellow ‘NSync member Joey Fatone and his wife Kelly. (Fatone told me he and Timberlake talked a couple of weeks ago for their birthdays, which are just three days apart.)
Dressed in a white shirt, black sweater and jacket and a black ski cap, Timberlake ended the song with a shout-out to Timbaland before leaving the stage with smile and a simple, “See you on Sunday.”
Timberlake is not only performing at the Grammys on Sunday, but also later that night, he’ll do the same at an after-party at the Palladium in Hollywood.
The 32-yar-old singer recently released “Suit & Tie,” the first single from his much-buzzed-about upcoming third solo album, The 20/20 Experience.
Also at the mPowering event were Timbaland’s wife Monique Mosley, Estelle, Pharrell Williams and Lamorne Morris.

Rumor has it Justin might be on Saturday night live on March 23rd, with Tina Fey hosting? nothing confirmed just a few people talking. so if its true…. we dont know, but at least we have something to think about
Justin Timberlake explains new album title: ‘It’s music you can see’
Justin Timberlake doesn’t have much of a track record with album titles. His solo debut was a pun on his name, and the follow-up was a surreal word collage. His new record is called The 20/20 Experience, but what does it mean? Is he particularly driven by ABC news magazines? Deeply concerned about marksman-quality vision? Establishing a bar that is exactly half as awesome as Jay-Z’s 40/40? Is it a reference to the fact that the whole experience of creating the album consisted of 20 songs in 20 days?
Timberlake revealed the science behind the name this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. “It more or less came out of I was playing some of the stuff for my friends and they would come in and out of the studio and I’d say, ‘What do you think of this?’” Timberlake explained. “And my best friend said, ‘This is music that you can see,’ and for some reason that stuck with me.”
So there you have it: Justin Timberlake’s new album is a concept record about synesthesia.
Seacrest also got a few other details out of Timberlake. He also noted that the famous teaser video that Timberlake unleashed a few days before the unveiling of his new Jay-Z-assisted single “Suit & Tie” is actually from another project entirely. “That little piece of footage is from a documentary that we sort of started working on throughout the making of the album,” he told Seacrest.

Justin Timberlake documentary: A ’20/20 Experience’ surprise or calculated hype?

Justin Timberlake’s music comeback appears to be a very well orchestrated and highly calculated production, but he’d like you to believe it’s just sort of falling together.
JT caused the Internet to nearly implode when he posted a mysterious YouTube video to Twitter with the words, “I’m ready,” accompanied by an unexplained countdown on his official website. OMG you guys, Justin is back in the studio? Nope, he’s already done in the studio and about to drop an album.
The countdown marked the date Timberlake would release “Suit & Tie,” (featuring none other than Jay-Z), marking his first single off “The 20/20 Experience,” the long-awaited follow-up to his 2006 album, “Future Sex/Love Sounds.” Then came word David Fincher (of “The Social network” fame) would direct the “Suit & Tie” video — news that was followed by a teaser for the video, which was succeeded by a holdover lyric video. Exhausted yet? Just wait.
Timberlake made his live concert comeback on Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans, with a little Britney Spears drama tossed in for good measure, and this weekend music fans will gather ’round the flat screens to see JT rock the Grammy stage.
Now today comes the “whoops, I accidentally leaked some big news” moment, when Justin calls in to Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show. “Not to give too much away, because you know I like surprising the fans,” Timberlake says, referring to the teaser video that ignited the hype machine, “but that little piece of footage is from a documentary we started working on throughout the making of the album, which started last June.” (Well before his wedding to Jessica Biel — you know, the one she kept telling everyone she didn’t really have time to plan.)
So, along with a new marriage, a comeback album, and a rumored world tour, the world will be graced with a Justin Timberlake documentary. Seriously, could this machine be any more well-oiled? JT tells Ryan, the “I’m Ready” video “was more a little excerpt from [the doc], which I kinda thought about afterwards. Like, oh, people don’t know about the documentary. This seems a little weird.” Uh huh, totally.
Speaking to Seacrest, Timberlake also paints his days-away Grammy performance as an afterthought. “I’m still in the process of figuring all of it out,” he says. “That was kind of a whirlwind; we got a phone call, got confirmed … I’m like ‘oh wait, I should put something together.’ So I’m the process of doing something right now.”
So there you have it, folks. Now that everyone will be scrambling for more info on this top secret project, we’re guessing the next announcement will involve some fan-baiting news about who’s helming the film. We’ll also be watching this last minute, slapped-together-on-a-shoe-string Grammy performance that will inevitably present yet another newsworthy music moment.
Any predictions for how JT will oh-so-spontaneously wow us on Grammy night? It’s at least a safe bet he’ll be wearing a “Suit & Tie.”
Justin Timberlake Teases New Documentary… And You’ve Already Seen A Clip!
The 20/20 Experience isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to from Justin Timberlake. It seems like the “Suit & Tie” singer will be releasing a documentary around the making of the album, and you probably didn’t realize that you’ve already seen a sneak peek.
The countdown video Timberlake released last month added suspense to his long-awaited return to music, but turns out, it’s part of Justin’s bigger plan.
“Not to give too much away because you know I like surprising the fans, but that little piece of footage is from a documentary we started working on throughout the making of the album, which started last June,” Timberlake told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Monday (February 4). “So it was more a little excerpt from that, which I kinda thought about afterwards. Like, oh, people don’t know about the documentary. This seems a little weird.”
But fans have fully embraced Timberlake’s comeback. He took the stage for the first time in a few years over Super Bowl weekend, and despite some rumor-sparking Britney Spears comments, it seemed to be the perfect practice run for his next big gig: the 2013 Grammy Awards.
“I’m still in the process of figuring all of it out,” Timberlake said about his Grammy performance. “That was kind of a whirlwind, we got a phone call, got confirmed … I’m like ‘oh wait, I should put something together.’ So I’m the process of doing something right now.”
Even though Timberlake didn’t want to give too much away, he did say to be prepared for “some stuff you haven’t heard.”
In addition to perfecting his upcoming Grammy performance, the former boy bander is also putting the finishing touches on his much anticipated album The 20/20 Experience, due out March 19.
“It more or less came out of I was playing some of the stuff for my friends and they would come in and out of the studio and I’d say, ‘What do you think of this?’” Timberlake said about picking out the album title. “And my best friend said, ‘This is music that you can see,’ and for some reason that stuck with me.”
Timberlake also revealed that most of the album was recorded before his October wedding to Jessica Biel and that it will be somewhat reminiscent of his 2006 FutureSex/LoveSounds album.
“We touched on the last album with the interludes and the pieces that connect the song to another song we’ve really gone deep on that part of the process a lot of the songs are really two-in-one,” Timberlake said. “For instance, when you’re putting a song out like “Suit & Tie,” it’s kind of two different things happening at the same time. I know that there aren’t many R&B dance records on the radio and I think we kind of felt, it seemed fresh to Tim [Timbaland] and I and obviously Jay we just felt like yea let’s put it out. I love the record.”
