Timberlake Joins All-Star Cast Including Jessica
Alba, Romany Malco and Verne Troyer in Comedy That
Begins Shooting This September in Toronto
Hollywood, CA (August 22, 2007) — Justin
Timberlake is the latest star to join the cast of
the new Mike Myers comedy The Love Guru in
which he essays his first original character since
Austin Powers. The Paramount Pictures production is
co-financed by Spgylass Entertainment and will be
distributed by Paramount worldwide.
Timberlake who was part of the voice ensemble
led by Myers in the blockbuster summer hit, Shrek
the Third, will play Jacques Grande, a
professional hockey player in The Love Guru,
alongside the previously announced Jessica Alba,
Romany Malco and Verne Troyer.
Recently, in addition to recording a multi-platinum
album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, which produced
four consecutive #1 singles, and launching a highly
lauded "FutureSex/LoveShow," the winner of multiple
Grammy Awards appeared in three other films in 2007.
Earlier this year, he earned rave reviews for
Universal's crime drama Alpha Dog co-starring
Emile Hirsh, Bruce Willis and Sharon Stone. He also
starred in Paramount Vantage's Black Snake Moan,
Craig Brewer's follow-up to his Sundance hit
Hustle and Flow, alongside Christina Ricci and
Samuel L. Jackson. The film premiered at the 2007
Sundance Film Festival and opened in late February.
Later in the year, Timberlake will join the ensemble
cast of Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Sarah
Michelle Gellar and Mandy Moore in Southland
Tales from Richard Kelly, the director of the
cult hit Donnie Darko.
Timberlake has hosted two memorable episodes of
Saturday Night Live. The skit "D*** in a Box,"
in which he appeared with Andy Samberg, received an
Emmy nomination this year. HBO will air the "FutureSex/LoveShow"
on Labor Day, September 3, 2007.
The film is directed by Marco Schnabel, who served
as second unit director on Austin Powers in
Goldmember and Meet the Parents. The
screenwriters are Myers and Graham Gordy. The
producers are Myers and Michael De Luca (Ghost
Rider). Donald J. Lee, Jr. (World Trade
Center), Roger Birnbaum and Gary Barber are the
executive producers. In the comedy, The Love Guru
(MIKE MYERS), Pitka is an American who was left at
the gates of an ashram in India as a child and
raised by gurus. He moves back to the U.S. to seek
fame and fortune in the world of self-help and
spirituality. His unorthodox methods are put to the
test when he must settle a rift between Toronto
Maple Leafs star hockey player Darren Roanoke
(ROMANY MALCO) and his estranged wife. After the
split, Roanoke's wife starts dating L.A. Kings star
Jacques Grande (JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE) out of revenge,
sending her husband into a major professional skid -
to the horror of the teams' owner Jane Bullard
(JESSICA ALBA) and Coach Cherkov (VERNE TROYER).
Pitka must return the couple to marital nirvana and
get Roanoke back on his game so the team can break
the 40-year-old "Bullard Curse" and win the Stanley
Cup

a sexy new magazine poll. More than 50,000 readers of
U.S. glossy InStyle took part in the magazine's annual
Sexy Poll, choosing the stars to top categories like
Sexiest Troubadour, Sexiest Girl Found On iTunes and
Sexiest TV Cast. Timberlake claimed the Troubadour
prize, while Jolie and Pitt claimed 42 per cent of the
vote for Sexiest Too-Hot Twosome. Pitt also tied with
pal George Clooney in the Sexiest Reasons To Spend $10
On A Movie category and Jolie was a clear winner in
the Sexiest Movie Star Whose Va-va-va-voom You'd Like
To Borrow For A Night stakes. Other winners include
Daniel Craig (Tuxedo Trumps Skin), Longoria (Sexiest
High-Fox-Factor TV Comedienne), Bloom (Sexiest Movie
Hero) and Entourage star Adrien Grenier (Sexiest TV
Funnyman). Shakira, Beyonce Knowles and Carrie
Underwood tied for the Sexiest Girl Found On iTunes
prize, while the Sexiest Hottie Who Makes Your Sides
Hurt From Laughing honour went to Ashton Kutcher and
Vince Vaughn. The cast of Grey's Anatomy claimed the
Sexiest TV Cast award, while show stars Patrick

but a girl on jjb made it official. Ashlee in
Disturbia wears william rast. ( awesome movie by the
way ). I thought that was cool... Justin's clothing

Timberlake tickets sell out in 10 minutes |

Tickets to a Justin Timberlake concert in Auckland
sold out within 10 minutes, says the only Christchurch
outlet.
Real Groovy Christchurch manager Paul Huggins said
that tickets for the first show, to be performed on
October 23, went on sale at 9am yesterday and sold out
within 10 minutes.
However, he soon got the call to say another show
would go ahead the following night. This sold out in
half an hour.
"A few of the girls were jumping up and down once they
got the tickets in their hands," he said.
Huggins said there was no-one camping out on the
street, but some early birds were there from 7am to
ensure they did not leave empty-handed.
With the addition of a second show, no-one was left
disappointed, he said.
"I think they were gauging it to see how it sold. As
far as I knew there was only one show."
Jackie Williams, 14, and two companions were the first
in line when tickets went on sale.
Long johns, thermals and a blanket kept them warm
during their two-hour wait on the street. |

Breaks Camera Records for tv special |

Timberlake will make TV concert special history next
month (03Sep07) after using 43 cameras to film his
Madison Square Garden HBO spectacular in New York.
Cameramen used the latest technology to cover the pop
superstar from all angles without interrupting his
performance or getting in the way of fans, who paid to
see the SexyBack singer live last week (16Aug07).
Thrilled Timberlake says, "The director told me, `You
broke the HBO concert special record for most cameras
used.' "We actually had cameras onstage, underneath
the stage... I think there was one in my butt -
anywhere you can put a camera!"

Justin Timberlake told Access Hollywood that stories
that he and superstar Madonna will be performing
together at the MTV VMAs are false.
"I am not. It was just a rumor," J.T. said. He did,
however, talk about what it was like to work with her
Madgesty. “There’s only one Madonna. It was amazing.
I’m still trying to figure out if she knew we were
there, cause I was just constantly staring at her. I
became like the weird stalker in the corner!”
