May 31, 2004 - Us Weekly reports *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake was steaming it up with galpal Cameron Diaz while at the Hotel d Cap Eden Roc's bar in Cannes, France on May 12th. Justin was sitting on a sofa, while Cameron "was almost sitting on him," according to a source. And the next night for a celeb packed bash, "Cameron was literally hanging off Justin." Another spy added, "They were so lovey-dovey and kissy, it was a real 'get a room!' situation."

May 31, 2004 - Star magazine reports that on May 14th, while kicking back in the bar of the superexclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc, just an hour outside the French port city, Cameron Diaz blurted out she'd like to have a baby to the surprise of her *NSYNC boyfriend Justin Timberlake. "Justin was obviously completely surprised by what she said and didn't know how to respond," an onlooker revealed. May 24, 2004 - According to The Hollywood Reporter, *NSYNC star Lance Bass is joining forces with Wendy Thorlakson and Joe Anderson on the teen comedy 'Lovewrecked'. The film will begin shooting in late June in the Caribbean and will be produced through Media 8. 'Lovewrecked' centers on a girl on a cruise, who gets marooned on a deserted island with her rock idol. When she discovers that a full-blown resort is just on the other side of the island, she somehow neglects to tell the rock star and keeps him dependent on her. Read more.

May 24, 2004 - The Sun reports Antonio Banderas related so closely to Puss-in-Boots, the animated character he plays in 'Shrek 2', that he ended up sobbing and holding the hand of Justin Timberlake at the premiere. Banderas was watching the animated film at the Cannes Film Festival last week as he sat between the *NSYNC star and Cameron Diaz, who also lent her vocals to the film. "I was kind of crying at the end of the thing," Banderas said. "It was kinda funny because there is a very romantic moment at the end of the movie. My character says, 'I wanna cry,' and I was crying. Cameron Diaz was (to the left) and Justin Timberlake was (to the right), and he said to me, 'I'm crying too!' so we held hands for a while. May 17, 2004 - Dan Aquilante of the New York Post reviewed JC Chasez's concert at the Roseland Ballroom Wednesday (May 12) in front of a sparse crowd of 1,000. Aquilante says despite the small crowd, the *NSYNC star "put on a terrific concert and thanked those who came instead of punishing those who ignored the gig." Aquilante added, "Earlier this year, Chasez played a pair of sold-out shows at Irving Plaza. He could have done the smaller club again with a full house, but the tiny Irving stage restricted this well-rehearsed, finely crafted song 'n' dance performance. May 13, 2004 - The Enquirer reports that Cameron Diaz recently visited Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC on the set of his debut film role 'Edison'. The couple snuck off during a break in filming to a dark corner of the set for some lip locking. The two were later startled when director David Burke, who was looking for Timberlake to resume filming, yelled "Cut!" Onlookers giggled as Justin and Cam leaped to their feet, red faced and speechless.

May 13, 2004 - With *NSYNC planning to reunite, Jeff Royer of Flag magazine wondered if the boy band image would hurt JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake's solo careers. "I'm not really worried about all that stuff. Other people concentrate on that more than I do, believe me," Chasez said. "Me, I just want to make records and stuff like that and let everybody else worry about the names and the stereotypes. May 9, 2004 - Sky News reports Justin Timberlake has secretly recorded a track with Christina Aguilera, calling the track one of the best he's ever done. The *NSYNC star said his new album would feature the single written by the two, called 'Never Just Stop Believing'. Aguilera remarked, "I am honored to write and perform with my dear friend who is so talented." The single will no doubt get a boost by plans to feature the two singers playing parted lovers in a steamy video.

May 9, 2004 - Satirical website The Spoof reports President Bush apologized for the abuse scandal after taking an urgent phone call from famed celebrity apologist, Justin Timberlake. The *NSYNC star told Bush, "Just deny any knowledge of it and say you are really sorry if what happened offended anyone. Then, say you stick by Janet. Oh, I mean Rummy. Now everyone is sending me their shoes.' So he shares them with his cousins Nick and Matt. He also shares them with his dad and his dad's friends. When there's a fundraiser, he'll autograph shoes so they can be auctioned off. He's always giving away his shoes to others. Since Justin has earned money, he shares it. He's given $100,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The boy has a big heart, and he is very modest about it."

May 2, 2004 - Lostprophets got a helping hand on their latest LP 'Start Something' from Justin Timberlake, though not in a musical way. The *NSYNC star's the hooded, anonymous figure pictured on the CD's cover, standing on a barren overpass in the midst of L.A.'s concrete jungle. "Our bassist knows him," vocalist Ian Watkins explained to Steve Newton of straight.com. "It's funny, because we tell people [that it's Justin Timberlake] and nobody believes us.
