April 28, 2004 - A report on Ananova.com that John Lydon wanted Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC to play him in the forthcoming film version of his autobiography has since been removed from their website. The former Sex Pistol, known as Johnny Rotten, said Timberlake had agreed to the request provided Lydon stays away from the film set. Check out the now blank original link here.

April 28, 2004 - Christina Fuoco of liveDaily caught up with JC Chasez for a Q&A and asked the *NSYNC star if the group will record another album. "Yeah, yeah, of course. We'll do it when the right collection of songs come together," he responded. Read more.

April 21, 2004 - Justin Timberlake tells Cameron Adams of The Daily Telegraph his move to film with 'Edison' world isn't a weird transition from his pop career. "It's different and it's new and it's exciting," the *NSYNC star said. "Nothing's too weird anymore! It's just a matter of you go into something new and all you can do is equip yourself with as much information as you can and try to go about it the right way. Do your homework. I was flying by the seat of my pants, I didn't know if the homework would pay off but now I'm on the set and I've gone through those things and talked to people who are professionals with real life experiences that my character goes through in the movie it makes sense to me now, I'm glad I went through that process." As for his next project, he wouldn't say if it would be another solo album or a return to his *NSYNC bandmates. "I don't know man," Timberlake said. "I'm making a film right now. April 21, 2004 - While Justin Timberlake has happily chatted about his upcoming tour of Australia, The Daily Telegraph reports over-protective minders warned any questions about the controversial Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" would instantly end any interview – and they weren't joking. Speaking to Cameron Adams and Kathy McCabe, the *NSYNC star was abruptly cut off when asked to clear up some rumors regarding Janet Jackson's Super Bowl breast flash. April 21, 2004 - WENN reports '24' star Elisha Cuthbert revealed how she received dancing tips from her boyfriend Trace Ayala's best pal Justin Timberlake before her appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'. "My boyfriend told (Justin) I was gonna be on the show. We were dancing and Justin comes in and he goes, 'What are you guys doing?' He always makes fun of me because my dancing's kinda weird, 'cause he's a pro. And then he pretended to be (Ellen) and he was helping. He was like, 'You know her from '24', she's coming out in the 'Girl Next Door'.' And I came out dancing. He was like, 'Oh my God!'" After she made her appearance with DeGeneres, the comedian/host was more impressed to learn the *NSYNC star was pretending to be her, saying, "It was only a matter of time!"

April 21, 2004 - When Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake split up, Justin's *NSYNC bandmate JC Chasez was in the difficult position of being friends with both. "I don't want to get into this," he tells the Daily Mail. "Justin and Britney were together, then they split, then they got together again, and then they split, and then they started dating other people. That's what happens. They were both friends of mine but Justin was in my band. It's difficult but you can't take sides. Britney didn't break my heart, she broke his, so I'm not going to start having a go at her. So much of what they went through was done in public. Some of it has to remain private." Read more.

April 21, 2004 - Us Weekly has details behind Cameron Diaz's visit to Vancouver to see boyfriend Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC on the set of his new film 'Edison', where they celebrated their one-year anniversary. On April 9th, Timberlake met Diaz at the Vancouver airport, and they went straight to his rented multimillion-dollar pad spending the afternoon in a bedroom. They later emerged "laughing and kissing" over dinner at Milestones, according to an employee at the eatery. "He had his arm around her when they walked in." The next day Cam spent the day on the 'Edison' set with Justin. A set source revealed, "They hung out in his trailer for two hours while he got ready." They wrapped up the weekend going to Cin Cin on Sunday with Timberlake's pal Trace Ayala and his girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert.

April 19, 2004 - CinCin restaurant hostess Alison Tornroos spoke with InTouch weekly about reports *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake and '24' star Elisha Cuthbert were spotted with "their tongues down each other's throats" while at the Vancouver restaurant. "Yes, they were here," Tornroos said. "But it was a party of six. Justin sat and one end and Elisha was at the other end - with her boyfriend. None of us saw any tongues." If there was tongue action, it was likely Justin's best pal Trace Ayala, who is dating Cuthbert.

April 19, 2004 - NSYNC star JC Chasez's promotional tour of England may not be going over as well as hoped if the writings of The Sun's Victoria Newton are any indication. Newton, a huge fan of JC's bandmate Justin Timberlake -- whom she dubbed 'Trousersnake', writes: "Former NSYNC singer JAY-C will launch his solo career this summer – and to celebrate successful talks with record bosses during a UK visit, he took Rod Stewart's ex Rachel Hunter out to dinner."

April 19, 2004 - The Glasgow Daily Record reports Drew Barrymore has been given the task by 'Charlie's Angels' co-star Cameron Diaz to find a movie for her and boyfriend Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC. "Cameron has spoken to Drew as a friend and because she's such a hotshot producer," revealed a source close to the couple. "Justin has really impressed Cameron with his keenness to get into films. And they've both said how great it would be to do something together. Drew thinks it's a great idea and she's promised to help."

April 19, 2004 - With Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Cameron Diaz busy on separate projects, there hasn't been much time for the couple to get together. And lately when there has been, the *NSYNC star visits his family instead. Diaz isn't happy about the situation, and a source says she's let Justin know, threatening, "show me some attention or else!" A friend of Timberlake's admitted, "They just don't have as much time to be with each other as much as they'd like, but things are fine."

April 19, 2004 - Us Weekly caught up with Pharrelll Williams of N.E.R.D. and asked how his pal Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC has been coping since exposing the breast of Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl. "He's so over it," Pharrell responded. "Justin's making a film and counting [his] money. He was cool during the whole thing. I think Janet took it really hard. But Justin loves her - he's had a crush on her since he was a kid."

April 14, 2004 - The Glasgow Daily Record reports JC Chasez says *NSYNC will be back on stage for a one-time performance, including Justin Timberlake. "I still speak to everyone in *NSYNC. We had a conference call the other day. The guys are all great," Timberlake said. "Joey is deciding whether to shoot an independent film or go back to Broadway. Chris is finishing off his solo record. Lance is working on a TV show and is still hoping to go into space as the world's youngest cosmonaut. Meanwhile, we are going to get together in July for a charity event, then we'll get back together after that once the right songs are in place. When the right material gets together, we'll cut a record. We're all talking about it. Making a record together again is going to be fun. People have asked why we want to be in a band when we can be doing our own things. But why not do both? The solo life is lonely, but being in a band is great. Justin is cool with it. April 14, 2004 - NSYNC star JC Chasez took part in a Q&A with Top of the Pops, and all of the questions were about kissing. Asked if he likes to kiss in public, JC responded, "I don't do a whole lot of it. I don't mind it I guess but it's not something I make a practice out of. I feel like there's a time and a place for everything. If there's mood where everyone is coupled up and it's all good then it's all good, but if it's not like that then my whole thing is I don't want to make the people around me feel uncomfortable. Just out of courtesy. If someone's making-out you don't want them leaning all over you either, it can make you feel a little awkward, like you've invaded their space. April 12, 2004 - Globe magazine spoke with Suite 16 Club doorman Wass Stevens who recalled an incident where he tipped *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake that Britney Spears, who at the time he had just recently broken up with, was headed to the club. "She went up to the DJ and played on of Justin's songs," he explained. "Then she sent him a bottle of champagne. He didn't want any part of it. So we dressed up a busboy in Justin's hat and jacket and had him walk right by her and out of the club. Britney thought he was gone, so she left. Meanwhile, Justin was hiding out back."

Smith writes: "It will be interesting to see how Justin translates from former boy-band sex symbol to movie actor. Believe me, he wants to make this transition. April 8, 2004 - A source tells Star magazine that while Justin Timberlake had wanted to pick the brain of his 'Edison' co-star Kevin Spacey, the Oscar winner instead has been teasing the acting rookie about his *NSYNC days. "Kevin had a part in Justin getting the role and feels Justin should be more 'grateful' to him," a source revealed. "He asked, 'So, just how hot were those boy band days? What did all you boys do on that bus?' Justin just shot back, 'We had a private jet, not a bus'." The source added that Timberlake told a pal, "Kevin's an amazing actor and I thought I could learn from him, but when we rehearse alone, he stares at me and tells me to stare back at him as an 'acting exercise'."

April 8, 2004 - JC Chasez is bringing his new single 'Some Girls (Dance with Women)' to British radio and is re-explaining the idea behind the track. "It's a tease. You know, you discuss something and everybody talks about it and everybody sees, and I can't believe nobody has ever done a song about it considering how many club songs there are," the *NSYNC star tells Radio 1. "But it's just about, you know, how if girls tend to want to flirt with a guy, they'll pull their girlfriend closer to get your attention, and it works every time!"

April 8, 2004 - The Mirror reports George Michael confessed that he would like to recreate Madonna's infamous smooch with Britney Spears by swapping saliva with the 23-year-old *NSYNC star. "I've already called Justin but unfortunately he hasn't called back," he says. The former Wham! singer doesn't want the kiss to be part of a collaboration though. "I couldn't bare people saying there's this old guy clinging on to a young talent. Maybe I'm less worried that my star might fade than Madonna."

"They've talked about working in the studio when he's done with his film ['Edison'] and she's done promoting her [just released 'Damita Jo'] album," the source revealed, adding that the two were never angry at each other over the Super Bowl breast flash. "Justin loves her," the source insisted. "If anything, he tried to help her deal with the whole thing. He's cool with her, and she's over it now."
