July 31, 2003 - The Chicago Sun-Times reports former GOP gubernatorial hopeful Corinne Wood and daughter Ashley spotted *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake having a late lunch at Johnny Rockets recently, but new girlfriend, actress Cameron Diaz--who was in town to see his concert at the Allstate Arena--was not joining him in a burger with special sauce.

July 31, 2003 - MuchMoreMusic spoke with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake following his performance at the SARS event in Toronto. He said it was the largest show he's ever performed in with over 400,000 fans on hand. He says every time he comes to Toronto, they show him a lot of love and they're very polite. Timberlake says it doesn't get any better than being on the same stage as the Rolling Stones and being part of a landmark for history. July 31, 2003 - Ratethemusic.com reports that '24' star Elisha Cuthbert is denying reports that had linked her to *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. She also suggested that she hoped Justin got back together with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. "We see each other from time to time," Cuthbert said. "Justin's a good guy. I think he and Britney should get back together. They're made for each other." Cuthbert says she's been dating actor Andrew Keegan for more than a year now.

"They are staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago and make out all the time in the lobby," a spy revealed. Timberlake's rep responded, "Today we're gloating about seven MTV music video award nominations. If it's not about that, we're not commenting."

July 30, 2003 - The Enquirer reports *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake was frantic after learning girlfriend Cameron Diaz was seen go-karing in Berlin with Robbie Williams, who she had been linked to in the past. "Justin is jealous," an insider said. The insider said Timberlake "is worried that Robbie may be making Cameron's heart race as well." But Diaz told Timberlake not to worry. "Cameron has assured Justin that he's being ridiculous to worry about her running off with Robbie," the insider said. "But if he can't get over it, it could destroy the relationship he's trying to save."

The insider said every time Justin changed clothes backstage, he also changed his underwear because he sweats so much onstage that his Calvin Kleins were drenched. The third hand source claims Timberlake "has an average co** – about five inches soft and cut." Writer Billy Masters responded, "First off, I don’t buy this for a minute – I’d have noticed five inches soft long ago. And, second, five inches soft is average?"

July 30, 2003 - Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reports that Cameron Diaz sat in the audience at boyfriend Justin Timberlake's concert at the Allstate arena last week in Chicago with the *NSYNC star's mother. "During most of his slower songs, she was just gazing at him like he was the love of her life," a source said of Diaz. The actress didn't seem to enjoy Timberlake's performance of 'Cry Me a River' though, the song reportedly about Justin's ex Britney Spears. "She seemed uninterested in that performance," the source added, "and spent all of that song chatting away to his mom and the guy that was with them." Read more.

July 30, 2003 - perfectly-imperfect writes "Justin Timberlake was recently on Channel 955 in Detroit with Mojo in the Morning and they talked about his VMA nominations and how he once incidentally gave a German maid a free peep show. They also talked about his tour but, surprisingly, there was not one mention of Christina Aguilera. Mojo said after the interview, "It was one of those things where you were not allowed to ask him about certain things. Number one on the list, you could not ask him about Christina Aguilera. Didn't want to talk about it, we found out last hour the reason why. July 27, 2003 - Us Weekly reports Britney Spears and ex-lover Justin Timberlake had an uncomfortable encounter at Miami hot spot Prive on July 18th. Spears saw the *NSYNC star dancing with new girlfriend Cameron Diaz -- the two had been on the dance floor for hours when she arrived -- at 2:30 am. "She was put on the otherside of the club," a source said. "Because it was a sensitive issue, and the club didn't want her to know he was there." After a while, Spears "took a stroll, and on the other side of the club she saw them dancing. She stared at them for a good minute and then immediately stormed out." The source adds that Timberlake and Diaz "were totally oblivious. They were having such a hot time."

July 27, 2003 - People magazine reports Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC and Cameron Diaz have been hanging out since she went to his show in Orlando, Florida, on July 15th. A source at the Orlando club that Timberlake performed said the two were "all over each other, cuddling and making out." They were also spotted at a restaurant with a bunch of people, including Timberlake's mom Lynn Harless. A source at the restaurant says Timberlake and Diaz "could hardly keep their hands off one another long enough to eat."

July 27, 2003 - Jae-Ha Kim of the Chicago Sun-Times reviewed the first of two consecutive Chicago-area shows Tuesday (July 22) at Rosemont's Allstate Arena. Kim says of *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake: "Looking lean and buff in baggy white slacks and a sleeveless hoodie, Timberlake showed off some intricate dance moves of the pop- and-lock kind that suited his musical style." As for Christina Aguilera, Kim says, "That Aguilera has a strong, beautiful voice is undeniable regardless of what you think of her songs. She was completely comfortable performing a brilliantly theatrical version of 'Contigo en la Distancia.' And on her current album, 'Stripped,' it's evident she has grown into her booming voice. July 27, 2003 - Joshua Klein of the Chicago Tribune reviewed the Justified & Stripped tour stop at the Allstate Arena on Tuesday (July 22). Klein says Christina Aguilera's "voice, not to mention the charisma-deficient singer herself, was lost amid all the mechanical thrills." As for *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake, Klein says the singer "has made a much smoother transition to maturity... "You know, I just envisioned walking down a hot street, you know, beads of sweat on everybody," Timberlake said. "You just see this dark-haired, voluptuous, dark skinned creature--this girl you know walking down the street. And you just see her, and you're like, 'Man! The reporter, Susanna, called the mini concert "raunchier-than-usual set" since he's playing in front of a 21 and older crowd he can pretty much do whatever he wants. July 25, 2003 - Star magazine reports that Paris Hilton invited *NSYNC star Lance Bass to The Palms in Las Vegas for a weekend after meeting him at a club a few weeks ago. Hilton told pals that she had a crush on Lance and thinks he can help her clean up her act. Apparently it's working, because when the couple went to the Ghost Bar at the Palm, Paris didn't overindulge, refraining from table dancing or flashing her underwear.

July 23, 2003 - The Daily Record reports *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake has been plagued by rumors that he has had his ears pinned back. A top plastic surgeon has claimed that the hunky singer's ears look like they have been altered since his days in the boyband. After looking at an old picture of Justin, compared to a more recent one, Harley Street surgeon Dr Dai Davies revealed: "Correcting protruding ears in teenagers or young adults is a very easy procedure which is usually done under local anaesthetic." A spokesperson said: "Justin hasn't had any plastic surgery that we're aware of."

July 21, 2003 - Thom Smith of the Palm Beach Post Staff reviewed the Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera show at Office Depot Center in Sunrise, where the *NSYNC star's girlfriend Cameron Diaz held court, and much was made over Aguilera's weight gain. "While Diaz's lanky 5-9 fits comfortably with Timberlake's 6-1, Aguilera still measures 5 foot 3 (on her toes maybe), although on her earlier tour she looked tall and thin," Smith explained. "Gone is the blond with the six-pack abs from February's Maxim. Wednesday's Christina had a tummy, and her flanks bulged over her spandex. Her simple encore costume -- jeans and a white T-shirt with the phrase 'God Sees No Color' -- made her look even heavier. Backstage, the extra weight was obvious. July 20, 2003 - JC Chasez has pushed back the release date of his debut solo album from August 26 to October 21 to allow for more time to record. The singer spoke about his album with MTV News, calling his solo material "polished demos." Chasez explained, "It's basically the raw idea from the beginning, you know, it stays true. There's always compromises being made [with 'NSYNC], because you know you're the voice of five people, not just yourself. And that's totally the right thing, because it's a group and you want to speak for the group, you don't want to speak for yourself." Read more.

July 20, 2003 - Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times spoke with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake just after the singer participated in a teleconference with 80 journalists at once. They joked a bit about that, and DeRogatis mentioned a previous call he'd been on with Britney Spears, where she goofed in saying Elvis was born in Las Vegas and Pat Benatar, not Joan Jett, originally performed her cover of 'I Love Rock N' Roll'. Timberlake said, "Well, I think her answers were revealing!" When DeRogatis promised not to mention Britney again, and that he could care less, Timberlake responded, "I could care less, too!" He says, "Both are trying to outgrow the 'teen' label but keep a large chunk of that audience as it ages. This maturation project took place on a sort of industrial-grade jungle gym of a stage. Oddly, it was Timberlake who appeared more prepared than Aguilera to step into the role of solo adult pop star. July 20, 2003 - The Chicago Sun-Times reports Cameron Diaz may have moved on from *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake and back into the arms of ex-love Jared Leto. There have been several sightings of the former couple in Los Angeles looking like a couple. ''Don't take any of this too seriously,'' a close Diaz girlfriend told the Sun-Times. ''Don't forget that Cameron and Matt Dillon did some 'dating' after they broke up'' several years ago. ''Cameron is not one to burn bridges completely.''

July 20, 2003 - Denise Van Outen, who is currently starring in the West End musical Tell Me On A Sunday, believes *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake is talented, but not attractive, and mainly appeals to young girls. "I think Justin is talented but very unsexy. It's all hype," she told Heat magazine. "He looks like you'd take your bra off and he'd go 'Durr, what do I do?'" As for his looks, she said: "He has a squashed up face like a Tennessee truck driver." Van Outen took a final jab at Timberlake adding, "He's just like a little boy copying Michael Jackson videos."

July 18, 2003 - Jim Abbott of the Orlando Sentinel reviewed the Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera concert at at TD Waterhouse Centre on Tuesday. Abbott says Aguilera is "a better vocalist than Timberlake, though the former *NSYNC star stole the show with a combination of musicality and easy showmanship. A band with a funky rhythm section and three horn players charged the Justified songs with enough energy to offset Timberlake's obvious debt to Michael Jackson for his vocal nuances and dance moves." July 18, 2003 - vtg writes "I have been reading all reviews for the Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera tour to see what I could expect at the concert. I was pleasantly surprised some of them (the negative ones) were way off. Maybe he's been taking the constructive criticism to heart because the *NSYNC star's vocals were on the money. He hit his falsetto notes with ease and danced/beatboxed his way into the hearts of the few males in the crowd. My husband was amazed on the good time he had. Christina proved herself to be the #1 singer in existence. She hit the notes Mariah Carey used to hit a while back (not to say Mariah can't sing anymore, she can). July 14, 2003 - More details have emerged from Justin Timberlake's visit with pals to the Yerba Buena Bowling Center. The bowling alley's manager Barbara McBride tells the San Francisco Chronicle that she kept the lanes open an extra 2 1/2 hours last month when a representative of the *NSYNC star called a half hour before closing time and asked if he could bring friends. Her whole staff agreed to stay late and serve the Justin and pals, and that's why she was even more upset when "the first thing out of their mouth was, 'Could you give us a deal?'
