Justin Timberlake has apologized for a video made by a friend in which various homeless people around Los Angeles congratulate the performer on the occasion of his marriage to actress Jessica Biel.
The video, a clip of which was obtained by Gawker earlier this week, was reportedly made by Timberlake’s friend Justin Huchel. The full, 8-min, 30-sec. version allegedly features Huchel asking homeless people, street performers and transsexuals their thoughts on the wedding. The title card read ”Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn’t Make It,” and was intended as a joke gift for the couple.
The original 20-second clip has since been taken down upon the request of Huchel’s attorney. The attorney’s letter stated that Timberlake did not know about the video before it was shown and that it was intended only for private use.
“Mr. Huchel made [the] video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake’s wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake’s knowledge,” he said.
However, in an open letter of apology posted on his website, Timberlake maintains that the video was not in fact shown during the estimated $6.7 million event. “Like many silly rumors that I have been made aware of about the week: It was NOT shown at my wedding,” the star wrote.
In addition, Timberlake used the opportunity to post an apology for his friends and to take responsibility for the video.
I’d like to start off by saying that I don’t live my life making fun of people (unless, of course, I’m making fun of myself on SNL)… Especially, those who are less fortunate or those in need. I grew up with a family and community that instilled ideals in me like hard work, honesty and empathy. As a matter of fact, growing up in Tennessee, I was always taught that we as people, no matter what your race, sex, or stature may be, are equal.
I want to say that, on behalf of my friends, family, and associative knuckleheads, I am deeply sorry to anyone who was offended by the video. Again, it was something that I was not made aware of. But, I do understand the reaction and, by association, I am holding myself accountable.

Judging by their wedding photo, Justin Timberlake was more than ready to jump into his new life with Jessica Biel, springing airborne with joy.
When the couple of five years exchanged personal vows in a romantic Italian ceremony Oct. 19, “it was a really special evening,” Timberlake, 31, tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story, in which the newlyweds open up for the first time about their special day and share exclusive photos.
“It was a total fantasy experience,” adds Biel, 30.
One cause for emotion? The singer-actor played the guitar and serenaded his beautiful bride-to-be as she walked down the aisle in a custom, petal pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.
“It was an original piece I wrote specifically for the evening and for her,” says Timberlake, who wore a Tom Ford tux he helped design.
The pair welcomed 100 guests, including close friends Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland and Biel’s 7th Heaven costar Beverley Mitchell, to the Borgo Egnazia resort in southern Italy for a week-long wedding celebration.
“It was a lot to ask of them to travel, so we figured we’d give our guests a good party!” says Timberlake.

While Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were the ones tying the knot at a posh resort overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the Southern Italian town of Fasano, behind the scenes, Biel’s new mother-in-law reportedly was the one truly running the show.
A source close to the actress said Monday, “As far as Jessica was concerned, she would have been just as happy to have a very small wedding with only a handful of friends and close family members present.” But Timberlake’s mom, Lynn Harless, wanted a nice, splashy bash for her beloved boy.
Biel — who had split with Timberlake before they reunited and got engaged earlier this year — apparently has come to understand “that Lynn is a very powerful factor in Justin’s life and, if she wants to have a smooth marriage, she has to have Lynn in her corner. … A big part of that is letting Lynn have her way.”
Harless is not only co-manager of Timberlake’s career, she also runs his finances, his media company and his charitable foundation.
† That said, Biel did manage to keep the guest list to about 80 — including Andy Samberg, rapper Timbaland and funnyman Jimmy Fallon. The actress also decided to go her own way regarding her wedding gown — picking a pink dress reportedly created by Italian designer Giambattista Valli, who also made Biel’s bridesmaids’ gowns as well.
Timberlake himself was said to be outfitted in a wedding suit made just for him by designer and filmmaker Tom Ford.
apparently today people.com will be posting their new issue, which has a justin and jess exclusive. so hopefully this includes some damn wedding photos!!!!
It was the best day of his life, but Justin Timberlake wasn’t feeling one hundred percent when he became a married man October 19.
“Justin wasn’t feeling well all week and on his wedding day,” a source tells Us Weekly of the 31-year-old’s nuptials with Jessica Biel at Borgo Egnazia hotel in southern Italy.
The insider adds that the couple’s intimate group of pals spent a good amount of time at the hotel bar. “They had a big night at the bar where everyone went crazy — but Justin wasn’t feeling great,” the insider tells Us.
Even if the under-the-weather “SexyBack” singer didn’t party as hard as he might have, “Justin was in a good
“The biggest surprise to everyone was that it was such a small group and not star-studded,” notes the source of the destination wedding, where the few celebs in attendance included mega-producer Timbaland, Timberlake’s “D**k in a Box” costar Andy Samberg, Biel’s 7th Heaven pal Beverley Mitchell and music manager Johnny Wright. Pre-wedding festivities also included a beachfront bash (with fireworks!) at Cala Masciola and cultural activities, too.
“Justin stayed with his family most of the time,” The source says. “They had a schedule of everything for guests to do throughout the weekend.”
For her walk down the aisle, Biel, 30, wore a pink-and-white gown — reportedly designed by Giambattista Valli with a “princess-like silhouette” — which she changed out of for the reception.
Despite not feeling so hot, Timberlake pushed through to serenade his bride at the reception. “Justin performed one song at the wedding,” a source reveals. “It’s a new one that he hasn’t released yet. He dedicated it to Jessica.”

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding last weekend was a very private affair but according to reports Timberlake made his music comeback as he serenaded his new wife on their wedding day
According to US Weekly, the 31-year-old singer-and-actor sang one of his previously unreleased songs in front of family and friends during their wedding in southern Italy on Friday (October 19).
The Roots drummer Questlove was the DJ at the reception and he teamed up with Timberlake to dedicate the track to Jessica.
A source told the magazine: “Questlove played a bunch of Justin Timberlake songs, but no *NSYNC. Justin performed one song at the wedding. It’s a new one that he hasn’t released yet. He dedicated it to Jessica.”
The couple, who became engaged at Christmas last year during a ski trip to Wyoming, treated guests to a week long party, thought to have cost around $6 million.
The ceremony was apparently pretty intimate, the couple being surrounded only by close friends and family.
The night before, the couple and their guests celebrated at a beach where they watched fireworks and listened to live music.
