MTV broke the news a few days ago, but since it was an error in the link, I’m posting the news again.
‘The Social Network’ stars Justin Timberlake, Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield will present at the show on September 12.
It was also announced on Thursday (August 26) that the upcoming Facebook flick “The Social Network” will be well represented by stars Justin Timberlake, Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield, who were added to a list of presenters that includes Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Trey Songz, Ashley Greene, Selena Gomez and Ne-Yo. MTV will announce additional performers and presenters at a later date.
The 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on September 12 at 9 p.m. ET. Go to VMA.MTV.com (or text VMA to 97979 if they are Verizon subscribers) to vote for the Best New Artist video through September 12.

what would make it even more exciting would be if they were going to be presenters of an award that Britney was nominated for…and she won! Can still see JT now when he said he loved Britney when he was accepting a VMA w/NYSNC…miss those days!

yeah, I know she’s not nominated. was just wishing she was and we’d get to see them together..they were soo cute together. now I guess we’ll have to settle w/him and you-know-who there together, I’m sure she wouldn’t miss the opportunity to be photographed w/him just to let everyone know their still together.

yeah, that’s what I mean. They gave her awards for ‘Piece of Me’, which wasn’t a bad video, but it wasn’t all that great either.
But she didn’t get awards for iconic videos like Baby One More Time, Oops, Slave, or Toxic.
They snub her all the time.
That’s problive because mtv votes though she was going to be the next debbie gibson or tiffany from the 80′s. Just a bubble gum teeny bopper teen Idol. Hell I thought there would all go away!!!!!

well it is no surprise he is presenting. He has not been to the VMA’S for 3 years most likely avoiding britney and the year that her team officially confirms she isn’t going he decides to show up. Typical JT. Oh and yes he was at the 07 VMA’S but he was in a whole different room and Britney left as soon as she opened the show. Why can’t he just go and face her already it has been how many years!

Has he promoted any other movie at the VMA’S he has been at? In 2007 he performed in a whole other room and never saw her since she opened and left right away. Just face it the dude didn’t even go to the Grammy’s because she was showing up he never goes to award shows any more and now that she isn’t for sure he is going? In 2009 he went to the after party? Why the hell would he go to the after party and not to the actual show? He has already avoided her it is absolutely no surprise. No he hasn’t promoted any of his other movies t the VMA becuz the other movies didn’t come out around VMA time.
In 2007 it wasn’t his fault he performed in another room. That was the theme of the VMA’s then, where different artists preformed in different rooms. But he accepted his award in the main room where Britney performed. Wasn’t there a story that he knocked on her dressing room door or something like that but she didn’t answer?
I don’t see a problem that he only went to the after party. He’s not always an award show type of person, sometimes he skips them and the red carpets. Not a big deal and it doesn’t revolve around Britney. Lol
You are making it sound like its all Justin’s fault. Britney left for 2007 VMA’s, and didn’t she leave the other places when Justin was there with Jessica like the restaurant and the concerts?
