‘Glee”s Jessalyn Gilsig wants Justin Timberlake to be Terri’s love interest
It’s not easy being the woman behind “Glee”‘s Terri Schuester.
Playing a lunatic is tiring, especially when there’s a fake pregnancy involved. And on top of that, it turns out poor Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri) is being kept away from the show’s high-profile guest stars too.
When KTV got some quality time with her this week, we asked if she had worked with Neil Patrick Harris or Joss Whedon on the “Glee” episode they’re currently filming, but she told us she wouldn’t really be crossing paths with either of them.
“It’s so hard when you’re Terri — for a lot of reasons — but one is them is that I’m kind of isolated,” Gilsig says in the clip below. “So unless I go to set and stalk [Neil]… I really should, actually. I kind of was really upset, I was there one day and they were like, Oh you just missed Olivia Newton-John. And I was like, Come on, guys!… Listen, apparently I’m trouble. They keep me far away and then bring me in when no one they need to impress is around.”
Gilsig is of course joking. For the most part. And she did have better luck when it came to a certain “Wicked” actress who will appear in the second half of the season.
“I did meet Idina [Menzel], thank you,” she says. “But Kristin [Chenoweth] was the same thing [as Olivia Newton-John]. I remember coming to set and saying i can’t wait to meet her, and they were like, She just left. I feel like there’s a conspiracy. I’m getting really freaked out.”
Well, freaked out or not, we feel like a famous love interest for T. Scheuster could make up for what she’s missed.
“Oh my gosh!” Gilsig exclaimed when we proposed the plan. “Do you mean Justin Timberlake? Okay!… [Justin] should play Justin Timberlake… Excellent. Done. Make the call.”
I mean, it would be kind of perfect, right?

Justin Timberlake’s newest movie role: A chance to sharpen his comedic skills?
After successful stints on SNL and even as host of the ESPY Awards, you’d think that Justin Timberlake would oh-so-naturally achieve greatness in the world of film. But au contraire, JT-lovers. If his track record — including Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan — is any indication, he’s still got some work to do transitioning from TV to film. You can’t help but hype the movie career of a guy who created magic using a box and his male appendage, but without a new “Sexy Back” or “Dick in a Box” to keep us interested, what does a fan have to look forward to?
Well, in his newest role in Jake Kasdan’s Bad Teacher, Timberlake joins Jason Segel and Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet for a comedic romp that could serve as a pretty good tutorial for young Timberlake — not to mention providing interesting on-set chemistry with Timberlake’s former girlfriend, Cameron Diaz. I may not love Segel on How I Met Your Mother, but I couldn’t deny the genius script behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which the actor co-wrote. As for Stonestreet, can you say, best-part-of-Modern-Family? I think so!
Let’s put the negativity aside and cross our fingers for JT.

Life & Style exclusive: Justin and Cameron in bed together!

When you’re dating an actor, it’s always uncomfortable to watch him get cozy with an on-screen lover – especially when that lover is an ex! That’s exactly what Jessica Biel will have to deal with when she watches Justin Timberlake and his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz onscreen — and in bed together! In the upcoming romantic comedy Bad Teacher, Cameron plays Elizabeth, a recently dumped school teacher determined to score a date with Justin Timberlake’s character, Scott, a fellow teacher already in a relationship.
Life & Style has exclusively obtained a copy of the movie’s script — and in it, things get awfully steamy. In one scene, the real-life exes are alone in a hotel room and begin, as Justin’s character puts it, “dry humping.” Justin winds up getting, well, way too excited way too soon — ending their make-out session prematurely. “That was a mistake,” he says, rolling off her. “That was fast,” she responds.

I’ll have scans tomorrow!!!
