Jay Sean: I would love to be Justin Timberlake
Singer wants to emulate success of pal
Jay Sean is a huge fan of Justin Timberlake.
The singer-songwriter, real name Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, has been working on a collaboration with the former ‘N Sync star in the music studio.
‘Justin‘s so cool,’ Jay tells Now Online. ‘He’s what I would love to be.
‘I would love to have his career in terms of how long he’s been going, how incredible he is as a performer and what he’s managed to do in films.
‘It was really cool to be able to work with him.’
Justin, 29, has also been sharing some advice with Jay.
‘He said, “I like the way that you seem to be a pretty cool guy,”‘ says the 26-year-old.
‘Most people who get a No 1 record in America could actually lose the plot and just go off the rails.
‘But he said, “It’s nice to see that you got your feet on the ground. Stay like that and it will get you a really long way.”‘
