Justin Timberlake Isn’t ‘Running From’ Next Solo Album
‘I find that when [inspiration] comes up … it comes up like a freight train,’ singer says of ideas for new music.

He hasn’t put out a solo album since 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, but he said he isn’t going to force the tunes out. “You know, music is … music exploration, I find that when it comes up … it comes up like a freight train,” he said. “So when it does, I definitely won’t run from it.”
However, the bottom line is that Timberlake has no plans to release his own new music anytime soon. In addition to his fashion empire, he’s also busy promoting acts on his Tennman label, like Esmée Denters and Free Sol. “Right now I’m enjoying working with new artists, working with some of the acts that I have signed to my little label, which I just started,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Timberlake and business partner Trace Ayala will be concentrating on growing their successful William Rast brand. “I know, for me, with the label is just keep expanding,” he said. “We just signed an eyewear deal, so we’re working on eyewear. It’s really growing fast.
“Just give a little flavor here and there to go a little deeper and build a collection where we hope to go,” he continued. “We want to have our own furniture. We want to design interiors on cars. We want to go as far as we can with this brand.”

I’m just kind of nauseated at the thought that he is not even starting on an album. I’m trying to not think about it. It’s so disappointing
I haven’t commented here in a while but when I saw this I just felt like I had to. This is just so disappointing. His gift is really his music. I don’t want him to put out crap but I wish he was more inspired to do his own music. It seems like he is in a holding pattern in his life right now. Like he’s trying to figure out what to do next. I guess I just have to be patient.
he is trying to figure out what he is going to do next. it takes time to come up with stuff and he doesn’t want to just put something out just because. critics will pan that album like they did with shock value 2 as they said it sound like he just put something together at the last minute. this will be the third one and i think everyone wants it to be the best one. it will be an anticipating album and if it’s not good people are going to be pissed off. hopefully it will be out by the end of the year.

I understand that Justin wants to take his time on making music. Obviously, he is. I’m just ready for a new album & new tour! Miss him making his own music!

I love Justin, but damn he can be the world’s biggest party pooper… first he has to go leave Nsync and refuse to ever get back with them after promising he would and the world is aching for them to get back together but he still claims no one wants boy bands back, then he releases SexyBack and it has the potential to go massively huge and when it starts to do so he hates the thought of it and has to try to tone down it’s hype by bashing it himself and moving onto MyLove and eventually “retire” SexyBack when he performs in Vegas, and now he doesn’t want to do music period because he “doesn’t feel like it” and wants to focus on things very few people care about or have access to. I mean seriously, JT has the potential to be a mega star, and every time he’s on the brink of it he has to eff it all up because he “doesn’t feel like it”. It’s sooo frustrating… I know he’s his own man and I have no say in his life and just like any other human I want him to be happy, but as a fan, it’s so… freaking… annoying…

I agree also Toffy! I am really disappointed and frustrated. Really if I had any self discipline lol I would just stay away. I’ve been patient since 2007 but I’m really getting sick of all this other stuff.
And I don’t feel like seeing Jessica in every pic of him. I’m so sick of her huge puffy lips and horsy teeth. It’s just really not so much fun anymore. I guess he has enough money and fame and doesn’t care anymore.

He is rich no doubt and maybe now he is getting tired of it or has his moment’s. Maybe right now he has no clue really what he want’s to do. I hope the reasonis because of Jessica Who know’s . I don’t think hopefully it is like that though. I have been a fan of his since *Nsync 11 going on 12 year’s. I am sure other’s have been though just as long or about. I hope someday I can see him on tour or whatever I can. I never even seen him in concert yet !, Just once with *Nsync when I was like 15 so see how that can make me feel or old I am 25 now lol which suck’s. Oh well though maybe i’ll get lucky someday. I know singer’s sometime’s does get tired of it all after a while of doing it. But I do hope he can do another album maybe tour too. That would be kinda messed up if I could never see him on tour again ! :/
WR is not his future,regardless of how the line is growing now, it’s HARD to be successful in fashion for years. MOST celebrity brands fade after a few good years. I know Justin want’s to be a “brand” but I think his music is why people even care about WR or anything else he does.

I agree. How long does he think he can push out over priced clothing, tequila, other artists, and other things. And why should his fans come to the movies he’s in to see bad acting? I hate how many times I’ve gotten my hopes up when I heard he was in the studio. I refuse to do that again.
im so bumbed…I like cranberry have been a fan since I was 13….I saw every Nsync tour…sometimes twice…have seen both JT’s tour..came out to support everything he does..and all I want is some new music to listen to…all the waiting is getting a bit much…I’m gonna be 25 this year..he’s using all his “young years” fooling around with things that no one cares about. I’m sorry but #fail when it comes to esmee and matt..and NORMAL PEOPLE can’t afford his clothing…JT needs to wake up before he does come up with album ideas and people STOP checking for him.
