I miss the old Justin. I have been a fan of his since 2000 and I know that he has to change and grow up, but I feel that there is a spark in him that has died and that he is not the same person. To be honest, his personality seems kind of weird at times. During interviews, he looks uncomfortable and irritable. Then there is his physical appearance that makes me wonder.I can’t put me finger on it, but I think there is something going on with him internally that we have yet to know about.I don’t feel he is truly happy despite his many projects. He seems like a shell of the guy he was 6-8 years ago. I hope I am wrong about this. Sometimes I look at old footage of him and I get sad because he is not that person anymore.

Hmm, interesting perspective Justinx4luv. I do think though that sometimes we look at the past with rose coloured glasses, everything seems better then than it is now. Which isn’t necessarily true. But who knows, you might well be right. Or maybe he’s just grown up, lost a little of his naivete and become a little more world-weary like we all do as we get older.
By the way, does anyone know if the person who runs the GossipCop website is connected to JT? The person seems very involved in all things Justin (and Jessica by proxy) and I wondered why.
To be honest I think this year Justin let fame go to his head. He seems to think he’s amazing at everything at the moment and he used to be a little more humble, that’s the only change I see. I’m sure he’ll snap out of it soon. I guess if you’ve been famous as long as he has you’re sure to have some moments where your ego gets out of control.
It’s a shame everything Justin’s does have to be anaylze DAMM!! Justin Timberlake is a mature man who does what the hell he wants.Justin said on the Oprah Winfrey show he not going to be the same man as he was before,he also said people change with the season.Everyone who talks about Justin have all said he down to earth and humble. Some of his FANS need to grow-up. Justin Timberlake have DAMM!! MOVE ON.
Maybe he’s just jaded? Six to eight years ago he was just started out his solo career and was relatively new to the fame thing. Now it’s old to him. He can’t remain a bright eyed kid forever….unfortunately. But yea he does miserable at times. The only time he looks happy is on stage or partying.

If Gossip cop talked about that story from Star why didn’t they talk about the other article from Star that says Justin brought Jessica a bracelet. They don’t want to deny the “good” article?

Sophie, that’s because Jessica’s PR isn’t sending them denials over a good lie like the bracelet nonsense.
i’ve been thinking that too. he doesn’t seem like the same person he was. he’s grown up now and i think that’s hard for some people to understand because they’ve seen him grow up. he’s been doing this since he was 12 and now he’s 28 going on 29. that’s a long time.
he can’t remain the same happy blond headed curly kid he once was. i don’t know if he still is but he was diagnosed with insomnia back in 2001 because i remember reading that article in YM magazine( do you guys remember them) and he was talking about it. insomnia is a sleeping disorder and it can affect how you function.
think back to 2001 he seemed to be a little out of it. he probably had it a while before a doctor found it. it was in September when that article was published.
even with that he has grown up and he changed and he will continue to change as long as he grows up and the media has to realize that. they always do this with child stars.
At the end of the day, Justin cannot be the boy he once was. Nobody stays as they are, everyone changes. He was a boy then, he’s quite the man now. And he has the world at his feet. If he stays sensible and grounded, he’ll be fine.
And whoever runs the GossipCop site certainly has an agenda. Like Sophie said, if it’s a good story, it’s true. If it’s a ‘negative’ story, they’re the first out of the gate to debunk it. The funny thing is, they’re giving these stories even more prominence by constantly being on the defensive.
And STAR magazine also has an agenda. Almost every week they have a piece on JT/RiRi. It’s actually kind of weird.
I just want him to be happy

Well Miss Timberlake, I just want myself and those I love to be content and happy. If Justin finds happiness that would be great for him.
Not saying he’s not happy but he does seem very worn out and like he’s going through the motions.
I’ll say it again, the only time I’ve seen him look genuinely happy and passion in his eyes was on stage at the Shriners event.
@Bailey,There is nothing wrong with analyzing someone you care about when you’ve watched them change and grow over time. When there is something odd or diffreent that you’ve noticed about them, you can’t help but wonder, which is completely appropriate and normal to do. I said nothing negative, just giving my prospective on JT. To me, I feel that there is something off about him, which goes beyond maturity changes.If you don’t see it that way, so be it.
