I’m going to ask a serious question and it’s a little controversial.
How did JT get so much street cred with black rappers?

I think so too. I know Justin’s talented and is soulful, but it’s amazing how these hardcore rappers love him.
well i am definitely excited for this one. i saw the twitter the game sent that day about justin walking in on their session and them creating something great.
amber – to me, music is a very powerful thing. talent is talent and the majority of people can not deny that justin has talent. artists, including rappers, know that if you think outside of the imaginary boundaries of your craft to collab with another artist from a different genre/sound amazing things can form. justin has proven to be versatile with his different musical projects from working with artists like duran duran all the way to 50 cent. justin worked with The Neptunes before working with Timbaland in his days with *NSYNC. justin’s music has always had an r&b edge to it too. but again, talent is talent and justin is a true musician. i’m glad artists from different backgrounds aren’t afraid to get together. i know others may not agree with all this, and that’s perfectly fine, but that’s just what i think.

^maybe they don’t care or remember. Or they just care about his music, making hits and his name or celebrity status. Also his connection to Pharrell.
Its called publicity people…Justin is mainstream…Game is well….so get him on your record,boom you got someone who doesnt even know your name listening to it…im not denying his talent,just saying its probably not the main reason for the love hes gettin from the rapper community…
