He’s a world-famous entertainer who can’t get enough golf. In fact, for the second straight year, Justin Timberlake will host a PGA Tour event in his name to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Grillroom: With all you have going on, did you really need to add your own event to your schedule?
Timberlake: It’s purely selfish. By having those pros in Las Vegas, I can get a closer look at their swings.
But seriously …
Seriously, it’s for a great cause and a really fun week. Plus we’re having a concert Saturday night, Oct. 17, a blow-out fundraiser.
You’re one of Butch Harmon’s prized students?
He’s helped me a lot. I used to scoop the ball, like a lot of amateurs. He’s working with me on trapping it, swinging more from the inside.
Entertainers and other athletes often say golf is more difficult than what they do.
It is completely unnatural. For one, it’s completely quiet when you’re over the ball. If people were making noise and we would have some music in the background, I think I might be a better player. In my job, noise helps fuel you.
Do you play on the road?
I travel a lot, even when I’m not on tour. I have a set of clubs in New York, where I have a place; in Memphis, where I’m from; and in Los Angeles, where I spend most of my time.
Something else happened in L.A.
Yes! A hole-in-one in July, at Lakeside. Not only a golf highlight. A highlight of my life. I put that right up there with the Grammys.
And at the second Golf Digest U.S. Open Challenge, you took 10 strokes off your score.
At Bethpage. And I got to play with one of my heroes, Michael Jordan. He plays all day. I could be talked into that.
Watch golf?
When I can. I saw Tiger Woods shoot a 62 in the third round of the BMW Championship. People don’t understand. He makes it look so easy, but he worked his whole life to shoot 62.

I am actually a little shocked to see her back already lol. I expected for her to go back eventually but she was only in Vancouver for 2 freaking days! I said it before and I will say it again ULTIMATE CLINGER! lol! Justin had a couple of days to himself, doing robos and eating a cupcake and now the clinger is back lol. Seems like Justin had some time, yet she is the 1 still flying out instead. tsk tsk. Jessica probably saw Justin eating the cupcake and came back to be on his ass lol! She needs the cupcake more than he does lol! I agree with Amber about her weight. She’s also starting to look like a bobble head and those inflated lips don’t help lol. She looks even worse skinny like that. She lost 1 of the things she is most famous for, her body.
Maybe hopefully it’s just a weekend visit and she has to work Monday.
Now Jessica has quotes about the climb lol.

Bradley Cooper was also seen flying into LAX, with a blog assuming he’s going to see Renee Zellweger.
My guess (or hope LOL) is that hey are only flying in for the weekend.
As for the mountain climb, my thoughts are that maybe Justin’s participation is undecided or not going to happen because of his schedule.
He has some many things to do: Shriners Golf, the charity concert, filming the movie, opening a William Rast store in November, etc. He’s always doing something.
Also with the way it’s being talked about (1st was suppose to happen in Spring, then this Fall), being on and off and conflicting.
It would be funny if Justin doesn’t go, will Jessica not go? Because we all know that’s her intentions of going LOL! Or if maybe they even break up by the time if happens (that’s if it happens).

I looked at all the pics and didn’t see all the luggage. If she only had a small role why did she take a ton of luggage to begin with for two days?
Go to lainey and see how much she arrived in Vancouver with…A LOT.
