a movie about facebook ?
No, you did not read the title incorrectly. Facebook has offically found a new way to get into your life. That’s right, the social media website responsible for linking friends and family, allowing online access to personal information and photos that takes up the time of countless numbers of people is coming to the big screen.
“Social Network”, a film by David Fincher is based on Aaron Sorkin’s story of the begining days of Facebook and the novel “The Accidental Billionaires” by Ben Mezrich. It appears that the Facebook flick may be one step closer to theaters as rumors regarding the cast of the film have started to emerge.
Adventureland’s Jesse Eisenberg is said to be playing Mark Zuckerberg, the 25 year old CEO of Facebook, worth 100 million dollars while The Other Boleyn Girl’s Andrew Garfield will play one of Facebook’s co-founders, Eduardo Saverin. However, it is the casting of Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, the Napster co-creator turned Facebook President who is creating the most buzz surrounding the film.
Timberlake is said to be signed on to the role, adding another movie to his IMBD profile . Filming is scheduled to begin in October, which leads to a few questions:
Do you think Timberlake was a good choice for this role? Is this a movie you’d see in the theater’s or has the Facebook craze gone too far? Voice your opinions below!
