Anyone who’s seen Justin Timberlake on SNL knows he’s hilarious even if those movies he’s done tanked big-time like Alpha Dog, Black Snake Moan, and The Love Guru. WME has signed him just for acting. Meanwhile, the new agency just lost Oscar-winning director-writer Alexander Payne to CAA. Payne was a client of ex-William Morris motion picture lit veteran agent David Lonner, who didn’t join WME and is still considering his next move.
