Southwest Airlines would now like to open preboarding to all passengers traveling with small children, anyone who needs special assistance, or any former ’90s boy bander who has won six Grammys.
Even though he’s worth a kazillion dollars, Justin Timberlake skipped the private jet for a low-budget Southwest Airlines flight from Burbank to Las Vegas on Friday afternoon. This is how the rich stay rich.
According to a TMZ spy who happened to be on the same flight, JT and his bodyguard were allowed to board the plane first — but somehow the massive bodyguard got stuck in the dreaded middle seat anyway. We’re told the bodyguard tried to shoo away a passenger who asked for an autograph after the flight, but Justin happily signed anyway.
Even when flying budget, Justin keeps it first class.

Damn, justin sure is modest with his money. I mean from the car he drives, you never see him buying big items. I wonder what he does with all that money? All though it is rare that he wears the same outfit twice so maybe thats where its all going. Just a thought

Justin, who has begun planning his fall Shriners charity golf tournament and all-star concert here, chatted with me yesterday afternoon at the private launching of his new 901 Tequila. Then last night, he had his very first nightclub sampling of the drink at Victor Drai’s XS at Encore.
There was no sign of actress girlfriend Jessica Biel on his visit here. Justin had a small group of friends with him as he held court in a secluded and private VIP cabana on the second level of the pool area outside XS.
Several security guards were on duty to ensure a fun, peaceful time for the singer and his friends by keeping partygoers away from their prime real estate. During the hour at XS, Justin opened up his new 901 Tequila for cocktails and a celebratory toast. He selected the branding of 901, the area code for Memphis, Tenn., his hometown.
Security escorted his party out through a private rear exit of the pool area later, and the no photograph rule was strictly enforced!

oww! I would have been so excited to be on the same plane as him! But it would also kind of be a waste- it’s not like i would want to go up to him and bother him! very cute that he signed the autograph. i like that he does that. i mean, its the fans that buy the CDs, go the shows etc… any celebrity that actually does not treat their fans well is very arrogant to me. No matter how rich and famous you become, i think you should never take things for granted. so all in all : i love justin for being so kind to his fans
i don’t think he flies private very often – i heard it cost over 250 000$ and imagine how bad it is for the environment. Burbank to Vegas not worth it!
I’m sure he flies private when he really wants or needs to. I think he flew private to Mexico recently and some other places he’s recently been. But besides the economy and eco-friendly reasons, he probably decided to fly commercial since it wasn’t a far or long trip.
