Forget about a dance-off.
It’s time for a hat-off between Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher.
“It’s funny,” Timberlake says in the new issue of Fashion Rocks magazine. “I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before.”
But Timberlake insists he and his William Rast fashion line partner and childhood friend Trace Ayala are the real trendsetters. “Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen,” Mr. SexyBack says.
Timberlake is well on his way to fashion-icon status. Along with gracing the cover of Fashion Rocks, he’s new face of Givenchy’s men’s fragrance, Play!, and stars in William Rast’s upcoming fall ad campaign.
But he wasn’t always rockin’ fedoras and tailored suits with sneakers. Timberlake remembers a time when he would spray-paint vintage Air Jordans and shave images of beehives into Ayala’s hair.
“We just kind of didn’t care,” Timberlake remembers of his fashion faux pas. “We kind of still don’t.”

I would have never guessed that he is responsible for some hot fashion trends. i love what jt wears. suits and sneakers kick ass!
just to let u know it says under upcomming events that its out in august.
Although I usually enjoy Fashion Rocks I was not happy with this issue at all, Justin Timberlake was a great choice for the cover, I was disgusted by the Dhani Harrison and the model 10 page spread, the use of fur in this spread was horrible, how many innocent animals died for you to put that in the magazine? How do you sleep at night?
