{nl}Rumor has it that Justin is to perform at the grammys to a recording of legandary new york singer frank sinatra. In the recent weeks Alicia Keys has been linked to this exact senario.{nl}But Buses in major cities , such as LA and new york are baring this billboard !{nl}FOX NEWS DAILYIs it true? Well, my sources say that Michael Jackson may actually be performing at the Grammy Awards this Sunday.{nl}A lot could change between now and Sunday night, but the scenario that’s been described for me goes something like this: Justin Timberlake starts the show singing along with a tape of Frank Sinatra. The next act up is Jackson, performing one of his hits from “Thriller,” possibly even re-creating the dance number for “Billie Jean” he made famous at the Motown 25th anniversary show in 1983.{nl}Will it happen? Who knows. Jackson, my sources insist, has been rehearsing at a Burbank studio and keeping away from the Staples Center, where the Grammy show takes place.{nl}Of course, if it does happen, Jackson would get a huge boost for the special 25th anniversary edition of “Thriller” that Sony releases on Tuesday. And if it doesn’t work out, well, then … as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Thank you Mel and Amber ( Timberlakefan.com ) for these hot ass scans of Justin from the february issue of this publication. for industry marketers only.{nl}
NEW YORK – Justin Timberlake is trying to take sexy forward.{nl}Timberlake presented a fall collection of his William Rast line Tuesday night at a cocktail party at New York Fashion Week, expanding beyond his current denim line.{nl}Wearing a leather jacket and a black scarf, Timberlake described the new collection as “high-class, urban couture meets Americana old South.” Utilitarian, military-inspired jackets for women were given feminine curves and kimono-style leather belts.{nl}The overall look was deconstructed prep-school – the models would have been at home on the set of “Gossip Girl.” They stood on risers in a downtown triplex apartment in front of party-goers including Russell Simmons, “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi, NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon and Duran Duran’s Simon LeBon and Nick Rhodes.{nl}The collection blends influences from Timberlake’s roots in Tennessee and his life now in Hollywood – with the help of Swedish designer Johan Lindeberg and his Italian wife, Marcella.{nl}”I’ve been wearing a lot of Johan’s stuff anyway,” Timberlake said, including suits, vests and golf gear from the J. Lindeberg line.{nl}To start their collaboration, Lindeberg asked Timberlake to send digital images that reflect his taste and lifestyle. Timberlake sent pictures of guitars, landscapes, furniture and his studio.{nl}”I really wanted to keep the rhythm that Justin has,” Lindeberg said. “We have been studying Tennessee.”{nl}Of the new collection, Timberlake said, “Obviously I love it. You wouldn’t have seen it if I didn’t love it.”
